As the Executive Director for SMA and SMA Foundation, Jeana works closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the mission and vision of the association are carried out and further the organization as a whole. She works in collaboration with the SMA team on membership, education and the annual seminar. Before joining the SMA team in March 2020, Jeana worked for over 12 years serving Chamber of Commerce organizations in the Des Moines area. She graduated from Iowa State University with Distinction with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a Public Relations emphasis and minoring in Speech Communications and Sociology. Jeana currently resides in West Des Moines, IA with her husband and two daughters.

Jessica began her career in Hospitality specializing in both front office and event operations. She is looking forward to sharing her customer centric knowledge on the SMA Team. Jessica is currently building towards becoming an association membership expert. She is a graduate of Purdue University Global with a BA in Business Administration.

Jessica currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa and enjoys spending time supporting Iowa’s minor league teams. Please contact Jessica with any membership or sponsorship questions.

Stacey is an Iowa State University graduate (Go State!), with a BS in Marketing and a focus on Business Management. After graduating, Stacey worked in advertising and sales in Eastern Iowa, but moved back to the Des Moines area to focus on a career in Non-Profit and Event Management. Stacey’s been working with SMA since 2010.  As coordinator for communications, website design, and print media design, she works with many Non-Profit clients.

Shortly after starting at DMS, Stacey met her husband, Jake (also an ISU grad); they currently live in Ankeny and are raising two future cyclones.
