The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security is offering a complimentary Affiliate Membership to SMA manager members, particularly those with primary responsibility for Security related functions at your stadium or ballpark.
The primary goal of the NCS4 Stadium Affiliate Program is to unite our nation's sporting venues with the mission of the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security to conduct innovative research, provide internationally recognized academic programs, enhance training capabilities and develop integrated security solutions for our Industry.

SMA is a proud member of TEAM Coalition, Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management. Their mission directly and actively supports safe and responsible game day behavior.

TEAM Coalition is a non-profit alliance of professional and collegiate sports, entertainment facilities, concessionaires, stadium service providers, the beer industry, distillers, broadcasters, traffic safety experts, and others working together to promote responsible drinking and positive fan behavior at sports and entertainment facilities.

TEAM training represents the most comprehensive thinking about alcohol management. The TEAM program encapsulates a highly effective approach to preparing facility operations managers to train alcohol servers and event-day employees to manage the sale, service and consumption of alcohol at public gatherings.

The Stadium Managers Association (SMA) and Green Sports Alliance (GSA) are combining forces in an effort to further enhance environmental performance and innovations in stadiums across the nation. In leveraging the stadium operations and management expertise of the stadium manager members of the SMA with the environmental and sustainability expertise and resources of the GSA, the partnership will accelerate the greening of the sports industry.
